Our team was kindly invited to celebrate with our dear friends from the Lebanon its Independence Day. At the special reception we had the occasion to make acquaintance with Mrs. Suzan Mouzi – the newly elected Chargée d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Lebanon in Sofia. We enjoyed a wonderful reception with traditional cuisine, where we had the pleasure to discuss some of the future projects the two countries are considering of implementing.

Ruskova and Partners participated in the Annual Meeting of the LexLegal Network Members, held on the 26th March 2016 in London, where the membership certificates were given a special ceremony.
Although it has just been a year since LexLegal Network started to work actively, it has united for less than a year almost 40 members from all over the world! The cooperation and collaboration in this small period of time showed that LexLegal by connecting law firms worldwide insures trustworthy working partners to help solve client’s requirements on the international scale in the quickest, most efficient way.
Between the 24th and the 27th September 2015 Ruskova & Partners hosted the Annual meeting of the German-speaking lawyers network Interjures in Sozopol, Bulgaria.
Colleagues from all over Europe gathered for an important catch-up with the legislation and policy change in the member countries, especially the ones from Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Austria, Poland, Croatia, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Bulgaria.
Our international team enjoyed the lovely atmosphere of the St. Anastacia Island and discussed the ongoing issues on the cross-border cooperation and on the upcoming crisis in the EU with the refugees if the Syria war continues. We surprised our guests with local myths and legends about old Sozopol, showed them the breathtaking coast of the gulf of Burgas and served them the wonderful Bulgarian cuisine.
Ruskova and Partners law firm attended the European Legal Network Summit between the 11th and the 13th of March, 2015, where lawyers from around Europe gathered in London to unpick the key elements in forging successful referral relationships for cross-border work. The summit examined all aspects of the referral relationship and debated the advantages and disadvantages of models including bespoke alliances, membership networks and “best friends”. Split across two days, the event brought together the entire legal ecosystem of international and independent firms, formal networks and in-house counsel from across Europe.
In today’s challenging global economy and increasing competition in the legal sphere, the importance of international referral relationships is growing stronger. Our clients with international needs shall meet the new horizons that Lex Legal could provide as being a network connecting law firms and independent lawyers on the global scale. Based at its head office in London, Lex Legal enables communication between the large diversity of lawyers within its network, extending the scope of the working practice and sourcing reliable legal partners with specialist knowledge anywhere in the world.
Our team took part in the annual INTERJURES Conference in Athens, Greece, generously hosted by our colleagues Dirk Reinhard, Nassos Michelis and their team from MStR Law.
The main points of discussion were directed by the current political and legislative changes in Germany, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Serbia and Slovakia. We were updated on the newly adopted German legislation on the minimum wage, presented by Dr. Matthias Knörr (vMH Heun & Partner), also about the risks of fraud to the clients when speaking of Bank loans by Dr. Norbert Buchbinder (Pro-Videntia AG). A special guest was the representative of the Germany Trade and Invest for Greece and Cyprus Mrs. Michaela Balis, who provided us with abundant information about the current economic situation of those two countries.
